This prehistoric term ‘Football’ is associated with a lot of games throughout the world. In different continents and sub-continents, it is split into different forms and named differently. Being played by the similar oval-shaped ball the game is split into Rugby, Soccer etc. Football is played in accordance with a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game. Two teams with eleven players each compete to get the ball into the other team's goal, thereby scoring a goal.
